A fee contract will be presented at the time of the initial consultation. A retainer fee will be requested. The hourly rate for Patricia Riley is $225.00 per hour.

The hourly rate for paralegal services is $90.00 per hour.

Filing fees and similar costs are paid by the firm, and billed to you in the same amount. There is no markup on those fees.

We provide you with copies of all documents. Copies are billed at $ .15 per page, for bulk copying, but we do not charge for single copies of such things as a letter. There is no charge for fax copies. We bill postage only when it is an unusual amount, such as certified mail.

It is standard for family law attorneys to request a retainer, as a prepayment for services. Retainers are fully accountable, and refundable if services are not provided. Retainers vary depending on the complexity of the case. Our standard retainer is between $3,500.00 - $5,000.00.
